Katie Hopper
Assistant CNO

Katie currently serves as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Medical Center Barbour. Katie has been with Medical Center Barbour since 2011, and has worked as both an LPN and an RN on our Medical Surgical floor, Intensive Care Unit, and our Mental Health Unit. She has most recently worked as the Director of Employee Education, Employee Health and Infection Prevention.
Katie attended Auburn University, and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Katie earned her Licensed Practical Nursing certificate and her Associate Degree in Nursing to become a Registered Nurse from Wallace Community College. She is an active member of the APIC-Southeast Triangle Chapter and serves on the Advisory Council for Wallace Community College.
Katie and her husband Jeremy have two little girls, Eady Lane and Madelynn. She is passionate about caring for her community, and is honored to provide safe, high quality healthcare to those in, and around, her hometown.
